HUNGRY JACK’S VIP BOX TICKET GIVEAWAY COMPETITION 2024

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Information on how to enter into this competition and the prizes in this competition form part of these conditions of entry.  Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.

 

The Promoters are Indian Pacific Limited (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) of Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate St, LATHLAIN WA, 6100 (ABN 31 009 \178 894) and Hungry Jack’s Pty Ltd (ABN 25 008 747 073) of Level 6, 100 William Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW, 2011 (companies will be hereafter jointly referred to as the "Promoter").

 

How to enter

To enter the Hungry Jack’s ‘West Coast Eagles VIP Box Giveaway’ competition, customers must do the following during the Promotional Period:

 

Entry to this Promotion must be submitted during the Promotional Period. To be eligible to enter this Promotion, Entrants must:

  1.      a) Purchase any large burger (“Qualifying Product”). This includes Whopper, Bacon Deluxe, Jack’s Fried Chicken, Grill Masters, Plant Based/Vegan Whopper and excludes small burgers (Cheeseburgers, Whopper Junior, Hamburger, Chicken Royale and all bundle meals). The Qualifying Product must be purchased in-store (excluding kiosk orders), via Hungry Jack’s delivery partner channels or ordering site.
    1.               I. Eligible in-store and delivery orders will receive a unique entry code on the receipt during the Purchase Period. Customers must visit westcoasteagles.com.au/whoppertickets, enter the unique entry code found on the receipt on the competition landing page; and input the required fields including the unique entry code (full name, email address, telephone number, store purchased from and accept the mandatory tick boxes). Delivery orders must be made via Hungry Jack’s’ delivery partner channels, Menulog, Uber Eats or DoorDash.

 

Four (4) winners will be drawn randomly prior to each West Coast Eagles home qualifying game played at Optus Stadium during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. This Promotion is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winners. The winners will be selected via a randomised draw system.

 

Promotional Period

The competition opens at 5am (AWST) Friday, March 1, 2024 and closes at 5am (AWST) Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Winners will be drawn and notified as per the schedule below.

With the dates of fixtures* not set beyond Round 15, the Promotional Period for subsequent rounds will run from 5.01am (AWST) on the same day that the previous Round closed and closes at 5.00am (AWST) on the Thursday before each West Coast Eagles home qualifying game in the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, unless the game is fixtured for a Friday night, then the draw will close at 5.00am (AWST) on the Wednesday before the home qualifying game.

 

*Fixtures are subject to change by the AFL.

 

Conditions of entry

  1. 1. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. 2. Employees of Hungry Jack’s, Hungry Jack’s franchisees, the West Coast Eagles, and their immediate family, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children, and grandparents.
  3. 3. Customers are permitted to enter as many times as they wish with a purchase during the Promotional Period.
  4. 4. Entry is only open to Western Australian residents aged 16 years or over. Minors must have their parent or guardian consent to their entry and the parent or guardian of the minor entrant is deemed to have consented to and is bound by these Terms and Conditions. Parents or guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of their consent of the entrant entering this   Promotion. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.
  5. 5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  6. 6. The Weekly prize value is correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in values.
  7. 7. The Weekly Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable and must be taken as offered.
  8. 8. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  9. 9. Any further costs associated with prize redemption are not included and will need to be met by the prize winner.

 

Details of Prizes and Prize Values

 

Weekly Prize

The four (4) winners of each prize draw will win two (2) tickets each to a VIP corporate open box with full catering for one (1) West Coast Eagles home qualifying game during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.  The game will be held on the weekend following the prize draw. (Weekly Prize)

 

Weekly Prize Value: $590 including GST per winner

 

Date and Place of Weekly Prize Draws

The prize will be drawn at 9am AWST at the West Coast Eagles head quarters, Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street Lathlain, WA on the Thursday prior to each West Coast Eagles home qualifying game as set out in the table above.  The winners will be drawn at random from all entries submitted. 

  1. 1)  The judge’s decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
  2. 2)  The winners need not be present at the draw to be eligible to win.
  3. 3)  The prize winners must provide suitable identification to the Promoter’s satisfaction to be entitled to redeem a Weekly Prize.
  4. 4)  Winners will be contacted via phone and email by Hungry Jacks or the West Coast Eagles.
  5. 5)  If despite every reasonable effort a winner of the prize cannot be contacted on the nominated draw date a redraw will be conducted on the next business day.
  6. 6)  A Weekly Prize (or any element of a Weekly Prize) may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via-online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer.  If a Weekly Prize is sold or used in breach of this condition the Weekly Prize may be withdrawn.
  7. 7)  The prize winners and their guests are required to comply with any and all reasonable requirements and instructions of the Promoter. Any failure by the prize winner, or their guests, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter to comply with its reasonable requirements or instructions may result in forfeiture by the prize winner of any part or all of the prize.
  8. 8)  The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by any prize winner (or their guest) in collecting or using a Weekly Prize including without limitation transportation costs to attend the match.

 

 

Liability

  1. 1. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition, accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  2. 2. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
  3. 3. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
  4. 4. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason, including by outside act, agent or event that is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, including but not limited to epidemic, pandemic, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this promotion, as appropriate. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in WA where required.

Should the qualifying game be cancelled, postponed or otherwise varied, then the Promoters have no responsibility to provide alternate or substitute tickets or to provide any cash equivalent in substitute for the tickets.

Any tickets awarded as part of a prize are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restrictions, and any conditions placed by the event providers.

  1. 5. The Promoter is not liable for (including any costs) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, network failures, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
  2. 6. If all or any part of these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, any such term or condition (or part thereof) shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and the other Terms and Conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect as if the offending term or provision appearing had not been inserted herein.
  3. 7. The Winner agrees to participate, as reasonably required, in media editorial requests relating to the prize, including being interviewed, photographed and filmed.

 

Customers’ Information

  1. 1. If the customer chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to use the customer’s name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
  2. 2. The West Coast Eagles will collect, hold, use and disclose Participants’ personal information in accordance with their Privacy Policy available at https://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy-policy      and where applicable, Participants’ parent or guardian – agree to the Promoter:
  • using and disclosing the Participant’s personal information for the purposes of conducting the promotion, redeeming a Prize and any matter connected to, or incidental to, the promotion; and
  • using the Participant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for any purpose at the West Coast Eagles sole discretion.
